Meet Our Doctors

  • Robert March, DVM, Practice Owner

    Bob has lived in Naples since 1995. He grew up in Connecticut and attended Central Connecticut State University, where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Science. He then attended veterinary school at the University of Florida, where he received his DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) in 1995. Dr. March has been at Harborside for 26 years and has owned the practice since June 2000. His professional interests are dermatology, internal medicine and preventative health care. When asked why he became a veterinarian, he stated ever since reading the book All Creatures Great and Small as a young boy, he always wanted to be a veterinarian and being able to make a difference in both pets and their owners lives makes it a rewarding profession.

    Bob lives in Naples with his wife Carol, his three sons, Dylan, Aidan and Brendan. He also has a Golden Retriever named Sundance "Sunny". In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, saltwater fishing, baseball and college football.

  • Evelynne Miller, DVM

    Eve moved to Naples from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 2007. While majoring in Biology at Colorado State University, she earned early acceptance into their veterinary school where she received her DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) in 1999. Her professional interests are primarily dermatology and preventative medicine. When asked why she became a vet she stated, "It was the only thing I ever wanted to be. My earliest memories include caring for my nursery school guinea pig, "Buttercup" and always wanting to go along for vet appointments with the family pets."  In her spare time, she is an active catechist at Our Lady of Light Catholic Church and enjoys spending time with friends, family, her husband, Mark and her daughter, Madelyn. She has a Catahoula Hound/Vizsla mix named Franklin, a black and white tabby cat named Sally and an orange male tabby cat named Peaches. She is also a die hard Pittsburgh football and hockey fan

  • Aubrey Bishop, DVM

    Dr. Bishop earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science in 2005 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Texas A&M University in 2009. She has a special interest in soft tissue surgery and cardiology, and a soft spot for Shih Tzus and senior Dachshunds. At home, Aubrey enjoys life with her husband, daughter, two macaws, and her Cornish Rex cat, Stitch. In her free time, she loves traveling with her family and visiting Disney World as often as she can.  

  • David Papanu, DVM

    David was born and raised in Pennsylvania. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Liberty University in Virginia before going tropical and attending vet school at Ross University in St. Kitts. During his time in vet school, David was a Teaching Assistant as well as a Research Assistant. David finished his clinical year back in the U.S. at Minnesota State University. David is a 2021 graduate but has been in the veterinary field for over 10 years starting as a kennel assistant. David's interests are internal medicine, ophthalmology, and neurology. David recently moved to Naples with his husband (who is also a veterinarian) and their four dogs (Montana, Ultra, Pinto and Bean). Outside of veterinary medicine, David can be found cooking, reading, playing tennis or laying on the beach.

  • Michael Dean, DVM

    Originally from Hart County, Georgia, Dr. Michael Dean grew up on a small family farm, developing a lifelong love of animals and a strong work ethic. He began his veterinary journey in 2006 as a veterinary assistant, which solidified his passion for animal care.

    Dr. Dean earned his Biology degree from Emmanuel College and his DVM from Ross University, completing clinical training at Oregon State University in 2021. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care and values client education, ensuring every pet receives the best possible treatment.

    In 2023, Dr. Dean and his husband, Dr. David Papanu, moved to Naples, Florida, where they live with their four dogs—two Labradors, Monty and Ultra, and two French Bulldogs, Bean and Pinto. Outside the clinic, he enjoys traveling, gardening, beach time, and playing kickball.

  • Nikki Jute, DVM

    Nikki was born and raised in a small town in North Carolina. She obtained her undergraduate degree from East Carolina University before continuing on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from North Carolina State University.

    Dr. Jute’s interests in the veterinary field include dermatology, ophthalmology, and behavioral medicine. She adores the special bond between animals and their owners and cannot wait to meet you all!

    In her spare time, Nikki enjoys relaxing at the beach, reading, and watching hockey games. She also has two perfectly fluffy Pomeranians, named Muffin and Milo, who are her very best friends.

  • Micah Bishop, DVM, PhD, DACVIM (Small Animal Internal Medicine)

    Dr. Micah Bishop is not a Harborside veterinarian, he is a mobile veterinary Internal Medicine specialist that can come to Harborside to see patients and perform ultrasounds and endoscopic procedures. Micah grew up in Texas and earned his DVM degree from Ross University, completed an internship at the University of Minnesota, and a small animal residency at Texas A&M University. He earned his board certification in Small Animal Internal Medicine in 2014 and his PhD in Gastroenterology in 2015. His interests outside of work include fishing, boating, unraveling the genetics of Ball pythons, and traveling with his wife Dr. Aubrey Bishop

  • Kristin Wendelbrug, DVM, DACVS (Board Certified in Small Animal Surgery)

    Kristin Wendelburg, DVM, DACVS(Board Certified in Small Animal Surgery)

    Dr. Wendelburg was born in Ohio and was raised in Texas. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M and then received a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University in 2009.  Dr. Wendelburg graduated Phi Zeta (Sigma Chapter) which is the Honor Society of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded the AAHA Proficiency in Surgery and the AAHA Proficiency in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery.  Dr. Wendelburg completed a one-year small animal medicine and surgery internship in 2010 at the University of Florida and in 2011, a one-year small animal surgery internship at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists in Houston.  Following her internships, she completed a three-year comprehensive residency in small animal orthopedics, soft tissue and neurosurgery at Tufts University in 2014.  Dr. Wendelburg has received board certification and is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons.  Since her residency, Dr. Wendelburg has been an associate surgeon at the Animal Specialty Hospital and BluePearl in Naples, Florida.   Dr. Wendelburg lives with her two rescued Golden Retrievers, Riley and Samson.  On her free time, she loves paddle boarding, kayaking, yoga and running.
